Decided to do my first flight this season at Grouse, on the way home from an intense Saturday at Pemby ... straight up cycles at launch ... but surprisingly little lift ... bumpy soaring over the spine west of launch ... elected to land due to fatigue and reports that things were percolating at the LZ (sky clearing, sudden heating) ... very bubbly and challenging at the LZ, with switchy, gusty winds and some turbulence ... short flight but stoked to have flown here again after a crappy spring. Other pilots were the First Flight folks ...
