Start up update

Submitted by Harry Siempelkamp on Wed, 2009-05-13 00:22.

Please read the email belowfor an update on the start up. If anyone has any info on who these unnamed pilots are please let me know.

Hi Harry.

Sorry its been a slow process the past couple of weeks getting confirmed answers from our meeting. There has been a decision made about the snowgun though. We will be removing the snowgun at some point next week. Until it is removed we are not permitting any flying.

We apparently had some issues on the weekend involving 1) paragliders coming up without approval and 2) one getting his shoot caught up in the chairlift. This is a major issue that we need to investigate.

I realize that it has been a slow process on getting a confirmation for your members to begin flying, but we had not given the go ahead to begin flying as the snowgun tower has been an obstacle. Can you verify who was flew this weekend and who the pilot was that got tangled in the chair?

Thanks.
